Absolutely. No one has trouble riding at 55 mph+ down the road. If you can't lock your handlebars while in a low speed turn and scrape your pegs/floor boards without putting your foot down, then you need this course. Learning to ride in full control of your bike at low speeds makes you an overall safer and more confident rider.

Not at all. Linked brakes have little to no effect on applying the techniques taught in this course.

Not if you follow the specific instructions given during the class. The vast majority of students are able to follow the instructions given correctly and never have any issues with their bikes. A very small percentage of students do drop their bikes on occasion with little to no resulting damage. It does help to have highway bars mounted on your bike to prevent damage from accidentally dropping your bike during this course. You can also use some automotive heater hose and duct tape to protect the areas of your bike that may contact the surface if accidentally dropped while practicing these maneuvers.

The reality is the same techniques you learn riding solo apply to riding two up. Nothing is different besides your motor clearance will change slightly due to the added weight. The slow speed maneuvering techniques are identical.

No. This course is for riders who already have a motorcycle endorsement and desire to improve their riding skills.

Our preference is that participants have at least 1,000 miles of recent riding experience, but a valid motorcycle endorsement is all that is required.

Class will be held in rain but not when lightning is present. Severe weather will cause class to be delayed, postponed and/or rescheduled. You will receive an email from us if a decision to postpone occurs prior to your class date. In the event class is cancelled due to weather, illness orrange availability we will make every effort to reschedule you for the next available class.

This course teaches the experienced rider the same techniques used by Motor Officers to ride in complete control of the motorcycle while at low speeds and in tight confined areas such as parking lots and county roads. The Motor Officer exercises are modified for the average civilian rider and are taught in an easy to learn skills progression format.

Yes, each student will receive a “Certificate Of Completion” upon completing this course. Some (not all) Insurance companies offer reduced premiums for continuing rider education.
